Senior Announcements
- There are only 2 more test dates for ACT. Don’t forget to register!
- Don’t forget if you have 6 unexcused absences and/or more than one discipline event, your participation in graduation ceremonies will be in jeopardy. Good attendance is important!
- This is just a reminder that the guidance department will not receive any paper FAFSAs this year. Students may call 1-800-433-3243 if you want a paper FAFSA; however, they would prefer you submit your FAFSA online. You may access a FAFSA at www.fafsa.ed.gov. You should visit the site now and request your PIN number (students and parents need to do this).
- This is a unique way to prep students and parents for the FAFSA. Enjoy!! http://www.finaid.org/fafsa/video.phtml
- Please remember to stop by the guidance office frequently to check for new scholarship opportunities. Applications are outside Ms. Sellinger’s door
- If there’s anything at all that we can help you with, please don’t hesitate to stop in to see us or email us:

Senior Participation In Graduation Ceremonies
Any senior who successfully passes each class during the second semester of his or her senior year may participate in graduation ceremonies.
Any senior who fails one class during the second semester of his or her senior year must meet the following criteria in order to participate in graduation ceremonies:
- must have completed credit requirements
- is in line with attendance policy for his or her senior year (no more than 6 unexcused absences)
- has no more than one discipline referral on file in the office for any offense excluding tardies for his/her senior year
Any senior who fails 2 or more classes during 2nd semester shall NOT participate in graduation ceremonies. Non-participation does not alter graduation requirements; anyone still meeting such may pick up his/her diploma after the ceremonies at the school during business hours on a date to be designated.
